In 1971, Yves Saint Laurent’s Libération/Quarante collection outraged Paris. But it’s soon to be celebrated at the city’s Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent Fondation.
And a quick look at some of the ‘scandalous’ pieces from that collection reveals that they’ve proved to be a key source of inspiration this spring/summer for Hedi Slimane, the house’s new creative director…
