Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty

This much anticipated exhibition celebrating the work of the late Alexander McQueen finally opens at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum this week.

Savage Beauty was first staged at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art back in 2011, and for a while it was thought that it would never travel to London – I was one of many that signed a petition to try and persuade the powers that be to show it in the designer’s home country.

Advance ticket sales have been record breaking, and the V&A has already extended the exhibition’s run to try and satisfy demand.

This trailer, or teaser, has recently been released to set the scene for what we can expect..
