Choice and individuality are two of today’s fashion buzz words, and this certainly hit home when I took a look at Givenchy’s collection for Pre-Fall/Winter 2016/17, and the trousers on show in particular.
Creative director Riccardo Tisci has offered his customer a myriad of shapes and styles next season, so whether she favours a cropped, skinny or loose fitting cut, the Givenchy girl has all her bases covered.
And if she prefers patterns to plain? The French fashion house has catered to that too. How about a pair of dark, dramatic florals…
Or perhaps she’s more of a pinstripe kind of girl…
It’s clear that the days of designer diktats are well and truly over. And I, for one, am enjoying this era of fashion freedom. How about you?
