Hermès’ new line of chrome jewellery, designed by Pierre Hardy, is currently on display at the company’s Rue de Sèvres boutique as part of its ‘Écrin d’Argent’ exhibition.
The luxury French fashion house launched its first range of silver jewellery back in 2010, and these new designs, featuring diamonds, jasper and onyx, will be on display in Paris until 13th February.
This last ‘Licol’ silver and diamond chain is simply stunning.

This infographic puts retail rents on the world’s most expensive shopping streets into perspective. Prices per square foot are often quoted in the press, but when you see the figures expressed in terms of products to be sold the eye watering costs really hit home.
And the most expensive street? New York’s Fifth Avenue retained the top spot again this year, followed by Causeway Bay in Hong Kong in second place. Paris’s Avenue des Champs Elysee came third with London’s New Bond Street fourth.
I wonder how many companies with a presence on one of these streets sacrifice profit for prestige?

Earlier this year, STYLIGHT created these visual comparisons of the two most iconic Fashion Week cities, inspired by Vahram Muratyan’s cult book designs. Last week, designer Michael Kors hosted an ‘Icons of Style’ dinner in London with Vanity Fair. The star studded event was attended by guests from the worlds of entertainment and fashion, but among all the celebrity snaps it was these two that caught my eye.
Looking effortlessly chic and stylish, as always, this Parisian pair showed the other party goers how its done!

Betty & François Catroux
These great pictures of former model and muse Betty Catroux and her decorator husband François accompanied an article I’ve just stumbled upon which featured in the Wall Street Journal back in 2011. The shot on the left was taken back in 1972. What a fabulous couple!

My summer holiday is now only a few weeks away, so I’ve been on the hunt for some great reads to take with me. And being the fashion obsessive that I am, when I heard about the imminent release of Kate Betts’ new book I knew it would be one I’d definitely be making room for in my suitcase.
In ‘My Paris Dream’ the former Vogue and Harpers Bazaar editor recounts her time in the City of Light. She relocated from America straight from college, and the memoir charts her struggle to settle into Parisian life, and break into the fashion business as a journalist.
I’m starting to see a theme among my book collection…

I Do Nothing But Think of You – Russh Magazine – April 2015
I love documentary style shoots, and this story by Emma Tempest caught my eye for two reasons…
Firstly, the backdrop of this header image reminds me of Paris. I’m not sure of the actual location, but the shutters, juliet balcony and amazing architectural view are very City of Light chic.
And secondly, Dianna Lunt’s sultry styling…
